The Creative Complement Company
The intersection of self-reflection, personal growth, and counselor development.
Our mission.
The Creative Complement Company's mission is to teach, research, connect, and facilitate professional counselor development through creativity. We are dedicated to advancing creativity in the personal and professional lives of mental health counselors and other helping professionals.
-
At the core of the creative complement company lies a deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of personal and professional knowledge. Rather than a stagnant concept, knowledge is a dynamic foundation that can be nurtured, questioned, and expanded through creative processes. Teaching creativity and teaching creatively are at the heart of what the Creative Complement Company hope to accomplish.
-
Whether you're on a personal or professional journey, the power of creativity shines when we work together. Understanding that creativity is a unique, individual force, we encourage exploration of both general creative principles and personal strengths in your professional life. Bri Kriley, LMHC, NCC, specializes in creatively incorporating innovation into helping professions such as mental health counseling, speech therapy & occupational therapy for children, education, childcare, and beyond. Additionally, Bri collaborates with individuals outside the helping professions, nurturing and developing their personal creativity.
-
Creativity is an inherently difficult topic to research because it’s a difficult to measure and define. Nevertheless we hold a steadfast belief in the significance of research as a means to think critically about our knowledge and refine our understanding while discovering the most effective ways to support ourselves and others. The critical point company is committed to advancing the creativity literature particularly within the realm of mental health and counselor education.
-
Connecting with ourselves and others is an integral facet of creativity, enabling us to foster fresh ideas and translate them into action. At the Creative Compass Company, we hold connection in high regard, recognizing that professional support comes in myriad forms. While Bri is a mental health counselor, we acknowledge the various professions that contribute to mental well-being. To bridge the gap and unite these individuals, we host the Creative Helper Directory—a platform aimed at promoting and connecting self-identified creative individuals from diverse professional backgrounds

The artwork you'll find at the Creative Compass Company is a deeply personal expression of our consultant and educator, Bri. Throughout most of her life, she has embraced artistic creativity as a means to navigate life's challenges and to contemplate her own personal and professional growth. Each piece of her artwork serves as a visual journey, capturing the process of learning, growth, introspection, and development.
